Frequently Asked Questions about our janitorial services company

1.      Is your cleaning company insured?

A: Yes. Our cleaning company holds a $1,000,000 General Liability policy as well as holding all other licenses that are required by law.

2.      Is Joe’s Express Cleaning incorporated?

A: Yes.  Joe’s Express Cleaning is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) through the state of Ohio.

3.      How long has the company been in business for?

A: Our commercial cleaning company opened its doors in 2012. We are a family-owned business that has seen exceptional growth and expansion in the last three years.

4.      What commercial cleaning services do you currently provide in the Cleveland area?

A: We currently provide all standard cleaning services in the Janitorial industry. These services include the following: General office and facility cleaning, Carpet cleaning, Upholstery cleaning, Floor stripping and refinishing, Floor maintenance, Tile and Grout cleaning, Post-Construction cleaning, Window cleaning, and Green cleaning. These cleaning services are available for most industries.

5.      What residential cleaning services do you currently offer?

A: Even though our company provides most of its services to commercial facilities, we do offer general House cleaning for residential clients. Our House cleaning service may be a one-time or recurring residential cleaning service. Please keep in mind that House or apartment cleaning services may need to be scheduled a few days in advance. 

6.      What types of cleaning service schedules do you offer?

A: We offer a wide range of cleaning schedules to meet the needs of all of our customers. The schedules that we currently offer include: One-time cleaning, monthly cleaning, bi-weekly cleaning, weekly cleaning, 3-6 days per week cleaning, and custom cleaning schedules.

7.      What time during the day would the work begin at our location?

A: We do our best to be flexible with our cleaning appointments so that we are able to meet the demands for most of the industries that we work with. Depending on the service that needs to be completed, some work may be required to be done after hours or on weekends. Most general office cleaning and janitorial work can be completed during or after regular hours of operation, whichever the customer prefers. In certain circumstances, the job would need to be done after regular business hours. These are usually the one-time cleaning services that involve floor or carpet cleaning work where no foot traffic is permitted for a substantial amount of time. 8.      Can we get an estimate over the phone or do you need to do a walk-through of the area that will be serviced?

A: For some of our additional one-time cleaning services we may be able to give you a quote over the phone without taking a look at the area first. This is usually possible when a potential customer is able to provide us with very detailed information over the phone.  In most cases, we would need to do a walk-through of the area that is to be serviced so that we are able to provide our best and most accurate price.

9.      Does our company need to sign a contract for your cleaning services?

A: Depending on the frequency of the service requested and the type of service, a contract may need to be signed. Our standard office cleaning contracts are generally one year agreements that include a 30 day cancellation policy. 10.      Does Joe’s Express Cleaning require a Key and Security Alarm code for our building?

A: If the cleaning service being provided is completed after your buildings regular hours of operation, a key and alarm code will most likely be necessary. Our company holds security information for the majority of our janitorial service customers in the greater Cleveland and Akron areas. All security information and keys are stored in safe areas away from any potential threats.

11.   Do your employees go through a background check and drug test screening?

A: Yes.  All of our new employees must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment with Joe’s Express Cleaning LLC. Our customers can rest assured that the person that will be accessing their building is in good standing and can be trusted to complete their tasks in a professional manner.

12.   What is the extent of the training that your employees received prior to servicing our facility?

A: Everyone employed by our company receives extensive training prior to providing any type of work for any of our clients. Most of the employees that we hire already have years of experience within the janitorial industry before beginning any work with us. All of our employees are trained by one of our managers or supervisors, who are certified cleaning technicians by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Our cleaning supervisors are required to take continuing education classes every year to hold their certification and be up to date on all the new information within the commercial cleaning industry.

13.   Does your cleaning company provide all the supplies and equipment necessary for the completion of the job?

A: Yes. We provide everything that will be needed for the completion of the work at your location. The only thing that our customers need to do is to let us through the door, and everything else will be taken care of and provided by us! If for some reason one of our clients prefers that we use cleaning supplies that are provided by them, they may contact our office for further details on these types of arrangements. Please keep in mind that we do offer a green cleaning option for most of our services, in which we use non-toxic and biodegradable cleaning products. Customers are responsible for consumable supplies at their facility.

14.   What is your payment policy for the cleaning service that is provided at our facility?

A: Payment due dates will generally depend on whether the job was a one-time or recurring service. Unless otherwise agreed upon, one-time cleanings will have payments due upon the completion of all the work. Customers who have recurring work done at their building will be billed on the first of each month and have payment terms of either NET 30 or NET 60.

15.   What forms of payment do you accept?  

A: We accept all major forms of Payment. These options include checks, credit cards and cash. The credit cards that we currently accept include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For information on payment due dates, please refer back to the previous question.

16.   Are all of your cleaning jobs backed by a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee?

A: Of course! Customer satisfaction is the most important thing in the cleaning service industry today. We fully understand that without happy clients we would not be able to stay in business for very long. That is why we fully guarantee all of our work. If for any reason you are unhappy or dissatisfied with our performance, you will not pay a penny!

17.   Which cities in Cleveland Ohio are parts of your service area?

A: We provide all of our cleaning services to most cities near Cleveland Ohio. We are most likely able to service your facility or location if your city falls within one of the following counties: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage, and Lake County.
